Craftsman 42" Deck Rebuild Kit 192870
This kit fit my Model Craftsman model 917.289081 LTS 2000 perfectly and included the mandrel hold down screws, the special flanged recessed top nuts that hold the v-pulleys on and the spacer washer that goes beneath the pulleys. It made for a smooth and easy repair of a bad mandrel and the new belt and blades are the icing on the cake!

craftsman 42" deck rebuild kit
This kit fit my mower as expected. I was looking at so many kits, I missed the fact that new bolts weren't included. You will definitely need new bolts, because the mandrel housings are not tapped(the bolts are supposed to thread the aluminum housing). I broke 3 bolts trying to remove old housings. Other than no new bolts, this kit is what I was expecting. Good tight and true parts.
