The LT1000 and LT2000 are tough machines, and many of them are still cutting grass 20+ years after they rolled off the assembly line. The Craftsman name was a Sears brand, and Sears contracted out manufacturing over the decades. That means your mower might have been built by AYP, later absorbed by Husqvarna, or it could be an MTD-built machine โ and those platforms use different spindle designs, different pulley bolt patterns, and different belt lengths.
